Brimscombe Art Shelter project

Studio 18, Brimscombe, supported by Brimscombe and Thrupp Parish Council, came up with the idea of art shelter - art installations in bus stops along the London Road, to inspire and express the lively and energetic lovely vibes that Stroud has to offer. Our shelter combines Ruth’s graphic skills and love of maps with Rachel’s painting and current obsession with the trees and wildlife of the Stroud Valleys. We have also collected some sounds that make us think of the Stroud valleys and their nature, history and people for you to listen to (just click on the sounds below).  But we’d love it even moreif you would like collect sounds and send them to us at busstop.sounds@gmail.com, so that we can add them to our Golden Valley sound library for everyone waiting for a bus to hear.
